| Isolated spontaneous renal artery dissection: Diagnosis and endovascular management |

Spontaneous-isolated focal renal artery dissection is really rare entity as an etiology of renovascular hypertension. The imaging technologies for the renal arteries have been recently evolved by innovation of multidetector CT angiography (MDCT) as well as intravascular ultrasound. We describe a 52-year-old male patient with spontaneous renal artery dissection complicated by renovascular hypertension successfully diagnosed with MDCT angiography initially, then evaluated by intravascular ultrasound and finally treated by means of stenting successfully.
